City of Markham

The City of Markham is the fourth largest in the Greater Toronto Area and was settled by German families in 1794. It is now home to one of the largest Chinese populations in Canada, with over 20 percent of the population identifying with Cantonese as a first language and 10 percent with Mandarin.
